The Little Town Players Board of Directors consist of nine directors that are elected by the Membership at the annual membership meeting in May.  Each director serves a term of three years.  The terms are staggered with three directors elected each year.  There may also be one non-voting student member of the Board who serves a term of one year.  Occasionally, in case of resignations, the Board of Directors appoints a member to serve for the unexpired term.

It is the purpose of the Board of Directors to uphold the Little Town Players Bylaws and Procedures Manual

The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings, which have generally been held the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. on the stage of the Little Town Players Theatre, unless otherwise stated.  In the event the meeting location is changed, the location of the meeting will be posted on the website calendar, on the theatre door, and in a newsletter, if time permits.  All Board Meetings are open to the Membership.

If a Board of Directors meeting date is not yet posted on the Calendar, it has not yet been set.  Please check back at a date closer to that of the meeting.

2011 - 2012 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Volunteer of 2010 - Peggy Cooper

Peggy Cooper lived most of her life in northern Virginia with her husband (Gary) and three children, Gary, Eric, and Elizabeth.
Peggy moved to the area in 2000 following her retirement from ExxonMobil Corporation. She found LTP in 2004, where she made her LTP debut acting appearance in
Let’s Murder Marsha. Peggy acted in two other LTP productions Deathtrap and The Foreigner, and stage managed Dearly Departed. She recently completed a three-year term on LTP's Board of Directors where she served as Secretary and House Manager, which is her current position. Peggy has a real love of the theatre, and volunteers in many areas including ushering, greeting, set completion, and wardrobe room management. In addition, Peggy has raised money for LTP through ExxonMobil's retirees’ volunteerism program. ExxonMobile donates money to nonprofit organizations – the amount of which is based on the number of volunteer hours. Peggy’s volunteer hours have resulted in a nice sum for LTP from the ExxonMobil Foundation. Thank you, ExxonMobil and Peggy, for choosing LTP to serve! We love you, and look forward to more, fun years with LTP! Peggy enjoys her retirement and loves to spend time with her children and her grandchildren, Cameron and Cooper. In addition to theatre, Peggy likes to read, go antiquing, and to travel.
