We are now accepting applications for interested directors!  LTP welcomes seasoned as well as new directors, and we welcome your questions.  You may leave a message at our box office number (540-586-5881), and we will return your call.

Potential directors must notify us in writing per the attached form,

by 7:00 p.m. on June 11, 2008.

This form may be mailed to LTP’s address at the top of this letter, emailed to us through www.littletownplayers.com , or hand delivered to any of its Board of Directors.  First time directors are also required to make a presentation to the Board of Directors on your qualifications and reasons why LTP should select you as a director.

Those who submit by this deadline will be considered first for director positions.  Note, however, that we reserve the right to consider additional applications as we see fit.

It is our practice to reimburse directors up to $800 for their expenses for a non-musical, and $900 for musical shows.  Non-musicals normally rehearse for six weeks, and musicals rehearse for eight weeks prior to production.  Rehearsal schedules are planned by the directors according to their individual needs.  For musical submissions, please note on your form any potential choreographers or musical directors you have in mind.  After submission, we will review your application and directors will be interviewed and chosen in late June.

Thank you for your interest in LTP, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Respectfully,

The Board of Directors

Little Town Players, Inc.

If not, please submit a resume (formal or informal) to LTP. You will also be asked to make a short presentation to the Board of Directors. If you do have prior experience, please list your experience
