


Our History...
Little Town Players was founded in 1975 and incorporated a few years later. Its purpose is to promote the visual, performing and literary arts. Also to promote, organize, rehearse and present theatrical productions for the education, enjoyment, and literary enlightenment of the members of the organization and general public.
In the early 80's Little Town Players was presented with a community service award by then President Ronald Reagan. Stan Butler, the president of LTP at that time, traveled to Washington, DC to receive the award.
Over the past 30 years, LTP has presented nearly one hundred drama, musical, or comedy productions. In that time hundreds of volunteers have given thousands of hours to the organization to maintain a high level of theatrical excellence. We are looking forward to continuing in that tradition.
Membership...
Membership dues for Little Town Players are $5 per person per year. The membership year is from October 1 to September 30. Members receive a quarterly newsletter with LTP news and announcements. There are two types of membership.
An Active Member supports the goals and mission of Little Town Players and wishes
to participate actively in the business and/or productions of the organization. An
active member might do any job associated with the business of Little Town Players
(i.e. office-
An Associate Member is interested in theatre, wishes to support the goals and mission of Little Town Players, but does not wish to participate actively in the business and/or production of the organization. Theatre patrons and fans are encouraged to join as Associate Members.
Becoming a member is easy. Just mail $5 along with your name, address, phone number, and email address to us at the address listed below. Please indicate the type of membership that interests you. If you choose to become an active member, we will send a membership form to you so you can let us know what you might be interested in doing.
