The Little Town Players were named the Non-Profit of the Year award winner by the
Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce during their annual dinner in March. LTP has brought
quality live theatre to the Bedford area for 32 years, and in 1982 won the President's
Volunteer Action Award presented to them in Washington by then President Ronald Regan.
It was one of only 20 recipients of that award, chosen from a nation-wide field of
over 2000 nominees. LTP, in addition to its theatre productions, serves over 100
children every year with a variety of summer camps and awards a $1,000 scholarship
each year to local graduating senior
